Barcelona 1-0 Málaga
The European champions made it a second 1-0 win in the Liga in two games as they were once again forced to work hard to register maximum points. After squeezing past Athletic Club last week, Barça prevailed when Thomas Vermaelen scored a 73rd-minute winner at the Camp Nou, leaving his side 16 league games unbeaten.

Real Madrid 5-0 Real Betis
Following their opening-day draw at Sporting Gijón, the Merengues found their form with a dominant home success kicked off by the first of Gareth Bale's pair two minutes in. James Rodríguez's spectacular double – a wicked free-kick and overhead volley – proved the highlight.

Newcastle United 0-1 Arsenal
An own goal from Fabricio Coloccini early in the second half, diverting in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's angled shot, earned the Gunners an unconvincing victory against hosts who played 74 minutes with ten men. Newcastle failed to register a single shot on target.

Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace
José Mourinho lost just his second home match as Blues manager in his 100th game in charge of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as Joel Ward headed the winner for Palace after Radamel Falcao had equalised Bakary Sako's equaliser.

Manchester City 2-0 Watford
Manuel Pellegrini's side are yet to concede in the Premier League after making it four wins from four. Raheem Sterling scored his first goal in a City shirt after the hosts were held until half-time, before Fernandinho wrapped up the result.

Bayern München 3-0 Leverkusen
Thomas Müller kept his scoring spree going by hitting two more in a victory against Leverkusen that ensured he has registered in each of Bayern's opening three wins. The German international made it five Bundesliga goals for the season with the opener and a 60th-minute penalty before Arjen Robben added a spot kick of his own.

Benfica 3-2 Moreirense
Benfica recovered from their loss at Arouca to edge to a home win, sealed by Jonas's 86th-minute winner. Andreas Samaris had put the Eagles into a 2-1 lead with 14 minutes remaining but the Portuguese champions were pegged back by a Ramón Cardozo goal, until Jonas made the difference late on.

Porto 2-0 Estoril
Porto's unbeaten start to the campaign continued as they earned their second home victory of the league campaign. Goals from Vincent Aboubakar and Maicon helped the Dragons return to winning ways after dropping points in last week's draw at Marítimo.

Caen 0-4 Lyon
Nabil Fekir hit a fine hat-trick as Lyon earned their second win of the Ligue 1 season with a dominant success at Caen. Claudio Beauvue rounded off the scoring after the 22-year-old took his league tally to four goals.

Zenit 1-3 Krylya Sovetov
Zenit lost their second successive home match in the league on a bad day at the Stadion Petrovski which saw Hulk miss a penalty. The hosts were 3-1 down by that point, however, despite going level through Nadson's 49th-minute own goal. Sergei Kornilenko's double condemned his former club.

Gent 2-2 Mechelen
Gent needed a 93rd-minute Laurent Depoitre goal to earn a home point against Mechelen and make it four draws from six league games. The No9's first in the 49th minute pulled the Belgian champions level for the first time and he was required to do the same again in the dying moments after Mats Rits had restored the visitors' advantage.

Konyaspor 1-4 Galatasaray
Galatasaray got their campaign up and running at the third attempt, gaining their first win of the season after opening with a draw and loss. Burak Yılmaz put the visitors ahead and Semih Kaya got their second. Despite Lionel Carole's sending-off, Wesley Sneijder made things safe with a late double.

Levadiakos 0-2 Olympiacos
The Greek champions left it late but goals in the 89th and 91st minutes were enough to make it six points from their opening pair of league fixtures. The hosts – who opened with a loss at Atromitos – looked set for a draw until Luka Milivojević grabbed the first and Kostas Fortounis made things safe.

Dinamo Zagreb  3-0 Slaven Koprivnica
Ángelo Henríquez and Alexandru Măţel added to an early own goal as the champions continued their unbeaten start to campaign with a second successive 3-0 home win which maintained Dinamo at the top of the table.
