Martial stars for United, Totti reaches landmark

Anthony Martial shone again, Francesco Totti struck his 300th Roma goal and Porto edged the Clássico – UEFA.com rounds up how the group stage contenders fared.

Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Madrid extended their club record run of games without conceding at the start of a season to five. Karim Benzema settled matters, heading in a cross from Isco ten minutes into the second half. 

Reims 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain
Edinson Cavani's sixth goal in his last four appearances rescued a point for Paris, held 2-2 last week by Bordeaux. The Uruguay striker finished off Javier Pastore's pass, moments after Theoson Siebatcheu had given the hosts an 83rd-minute lead. 

Djurgården 0-2 Malmö
Åge Hareide's fifth-placed side are nine points behind leaders Göteborg after second-half goals saw them to victory at the team one place below them in the Swedish First Division. Magnus Eikrem and Felipe Carvalho goals secured the points.

Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk
Shakhtar recovered from their 4-0 reverse at Real Madrid on Tuesday by posting their third win in as many Ukrainian Premier League games, Fred and Alex Teixeira finding the net before the break.

Group B
Heracles 2-1 PSV Eindhoven
Previously unbeaten PSV, 2-1 victors against Manchester United on matchday one, failed to add to Luuk de Jong's early goal, Heracles coming from behind to register their fifth Eredivisie win in a row.

Wolfsburg 2-0 Hertha Berlin
Substitute Bas Dost scored twice for Dieter Hecking's charges, who are 14 matches unbeaten in all competitions – a run stretching back to late April. 

Southampton 2-3 Manchester United
Summer signing Anthony Martial made another big splash for United with two goals, the 19-year-old cancelling out a Graziano Pellè strike shortly after the half-hour and pouncing again after the restart. Juan Mata also hit the target for the visitors, before Pellè grabbed his second late on.

Mordovia Saransk 4-6 CSKA Moskva
CSKA were three goals and a man down after 15 minutes but came back to win a ten-goal thriller. The Moscow club brought things level before falling behind again, though three goals in the final ten minutes turned the tide as Seydou Doumbia and Ahmed Musa finished with two apiece.

Group C
Eibar 0-2 Atlético Madrid
Fernando Torres's second goal of the season rubber-stamped Atlético's third triumph in four Liga games. Substitute Ángel Correa put the Rojiblancos in front 60 seconds after replacing Koke 16 minutes into the second half. 

Porto 1-0 Benfica
Benfica missed the chance to leapfrog their fiercest rivals in the Clássico after slipping to their second loss in five Liga outings. Kostas Mitroglou and Luisão both tested Iker Casillas with early headers, yet the telling contribution came from Porto's André André with four minutes left.

Trabzonspor 0-1 Galatasaray
Galatasaray made it three away league games unbeaten this season with this result on the Black Sea coast. The match was heading for a draw until former Sevilla player Stéphane Mbia's 82nd-minute own goal.

Astana 0-1 Kairat
Astana tasted defeat for the second time this week after going down at home to the Kazakh Premier League pacesetters. The result left Astana – beaten 2-0 by Benfica on Tuesday – four points behind Kairat in second.

Group D
Sevilla 1-2 Celta Vigo
Sevilla remain winless in the Liga after suffering their second home loss of the campaign. Fernando Llorente scored the Hispalenses' second league goal of the season in the 54th minute, but it was not enough after Celta had established a two-goal half-time lead.

Genoa 0-2 Juventus
The defending champions got their defence up and running with a first win of the season at the fourth attempt. Eugenio Lamanna's own goal put the Bianconeri ahead and Paul Pogba secured the points on the hour from the penalty spot.

Manchester City 1-2 West Ham
West Ham ended City's perfect start to the Premier League campaign, becoming the first English team to score against the Citizens this season. Manuel Pellegrini's men laid siege to the visitors' penalty area after going 2-0 down but only had club record signing Kevin De Bruyne's first goal in light blue to show for their efforts. 

Köln 1-0 Mönchengladbach
Anthony Modeste's second-half strike condemned Mönchengladbach to their sixth straight loss, and on Sunday prompted coach Lucien Favre to hand in his resignation.

Dortmund 3-0 Bayer Leverkusen
Leverkusen became the latest victims of the Dortmund juggernaut as they were handed a 3-0 defeat by Thomas Tuchel's Bundesliga high-flyers. Jonas Hofmann, Shinji Kagawa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all struck to seal a third consecutive league reverse for Leverkusen.

Barcelona 4-1 Levante
Barcelona remain perfect in the Liga, though they had to wait until the 50th minute for Marc Bartra to open their account. Neymar struck shortly afterwards, with Lionel Messi then burying a penalty – before he fired a second spot kick over and added a last-minute effort following Víctor Casadesús's consolation for Levante.

Roma 2-2 Sassuolo
Francesco Totti scored his 300th Giallorossi goal to help his side earn a point. The 38-year-old equalised Gregoire Defrel's opener before Mohamed Salah brought the game level for a second time after Sassuolo had restored their advantage.

BATE Borisov 1-0 Torpedo-Belaz Zhodino
BATE returned to winning ways with a slender 1-0 victory against Torpedo-Belaz Zhodino. Aleksandar Jevtić made the difference after 12 minutes to move his side 11 points clear in Belarus.

Darmstadt 0-3 Bayern München
Kingsley Coman scored on his first start for Bayern as Josep Guardiola's team chalked up their seventh consecutive victory in all competitions and fifth in as many league fixtures this season. 

Hajduk Split 0-0 Dinamo Zagreb
Early pacesetters Dinamo were held in the Eternal Derby, three days after ending their 16-year wait for a group stage win by beating Arsenal 2-1. Ángelo Henríquez missed a late penalty for the visitors after Hajduk had Julián Velázquez sent off.

Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal
Beaten in Croatia on Wednesday, Arsenal lost again as the champions recorded their first home league win of 2015/16. Arsène Wenger's side ended the London derby with nine men, Gabriel (45+1) and Santi Cazorla (79) the players dismissed.

Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal
Second-half goals by Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard earned the Blues – 4-0 winners against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in midweek – their second home victory in four days.

Porto 1-0 Benfica
The Dragons kept themselves on top of the pile in Portugal with a 1-0 defeat of their arch-rivals in the Clássico. Iker Casillas made a number of early saves and Vincent Aboubakar hit the post at the other end, but there was no stopping André André as he delivered the decisive blow four minutes from the end.

Volyn Lutsk 0-2 Dynamo Kyiv
Dynamo Kyiv continue to lead the way in Ukraine after Artem Kravets and Oleh Gusev scored either side of the break to give the capital club their seventh win in eight Premier League outings.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv 1-2 Hapoel Ra'anana
Barak Itzhaki looked to have earned Maccabi a share of the spoils with an 88th-minute equaliser, but there was still time for Snir Shuker to plunder a late winner for the visitors.

Zenit 1-1 Amkar Perm
Zenit have dropped eight points behind Russian Premier League leaders CSKA despite going ahead early on via Artem Dzyuba. They were pegged back by Chuma Anene on 66 minutes and are now without a win in their last three league fixtures.

Marseille 1-1 Lyon
Alexandre Lacazette finally celebrated his first goal this season, but there was no victory at the end of it for Lyon as Karim Rekik levelled for the hosts following a second-half interruption in play.

Gent 4-1 Standard Liège
Belgian champions Gent caught the eye with a handsome triumph. Hein Vanhaezebrouck's men conceded early on but equalised before the break and scored three times after the restart, Thomas Matton notching twice against opponents who ended with nine men.

Valencia 0-0 Real Betis
Valencia failed to find a way through ten-man Betis as they drew for the third time in four Liga outings. The visitors left with a point, despite having Dani Ceballos ordered off three minutes into the second half.
