Ibrahimović sets record, rampant Bayern shine

Zlatan Ibrahimović became Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorer and both Arsenal and Bayern München impressed on a day when the Madrid derby ended all-square.

Atlético Madrid 1-1 Real Madrid
With all eyes on Cristiano Ronaldo, it was Karim Benzema who put Madrid ahead in the Spanish capital derby. Ronaldo currently lies level with Raúl González as the Merengues' all-time leading scorer on 323 goals, but Benzema grabbed his sixth in the Liga this term after heading in a Dani Carvajal cross on nine minutes. Luciano Vietto equalised late on, however, to leave Madrid a point behind Villarreal at the summit.

Paris 2-1 Marseille
Zlatan Ibrahimović struck twice from the spot to surpass Pauleta as Paris's all-time leading scorer and clinch a comeback win for the French champions in Le Classique. Michy Batshuayi had put OM ahead against their arch-rivals on the half-hour, but Ibrahimović converted a pair of penalties close to half-time to take his Paris tally to 110 goals, before Kevin Trapp kept out a penalty from Abdelaziz Barrada.

AIK 2-1 Malmö
Henok Goitom and Stefan Ishizaki found the target for third-placed AIK to end Malmö's five-game unbeaten streak in the Allsvenskan. Vladimir Rodić hit a consolation for the Sky Blues before Rasmus Bengtsson was sent off in added time.

Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 Chornomorets Odesa
Alex Teixeira scored twice in a Ukrainian Premier League match for the sixth time this term, taking his tally to 14 for the season. Mykola Matviyenko, 19, made his top-flight debut for the Pitmen.

Ajax 1-2 PSV Eindhoven
Gaston Pereiro scored twice on his full debut for the Dutch champions as leaders Ajax slipped to their first league defeat of the season. The 20-year-old struck the opener inside seven minutes before Amin Younes's curling effort restored parity soon after. Pereiro's 79th-minute effort beat Jasper Cillessen to secure the away success.

Arsenal 3-0 Manchester United
Louis van Gaal's side dropped to third place in the Premier League after a resounding defeat in London. The Gunners raced into a three-goal lead inside 20 minutes with Alexis Sánchez netting two and Mesut Özil also hitting the target. Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian were replaced at the break as the Red Devils looked for a response, but the hosts held firm to secure a second consecutive league win.

Dinamo Moskva 0-2 CSKA Moskva
Ahmed Musa's seventh goal in 11 league outings helped the Army Men triumph in the Moscow derby. Pontus Wernbloom struck the opener at Dinamo before Musa secured the points to keep CSKA five points clear at the summit.

Mönchengladbach 2-0 Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg are without a win in three Bundesliga fixtures. Håvard Nordtveit and Ibrahima Traoré condemned Dieter Hecking's men to their second league loss of the season and third in four games in all competitions.

Group C
União da Madeira v Benfica (pp)
Benfica were unable to hunt their first away point in the Portuguese Liga this term as their Sunday evening fixture was postponed due to heavy fog.

Atlético Madrid 1-1 Real Madrid
Luciano Vietto came off the bench to earn Atlético a point with just seven minutes remaining in his first Madrid derby. Diego Simeone's men had fallen behind to an early Karim Benzema effort and missed the chance to level when Keylor Navas denied Antoine Griezmann from the spot. However, Simeone sent Vietto into the fray on 58 minutes and the 21-year-old struck following a late scramble in the box.

İstanbul Başakşehir 0-2 Galatasaray
Lukas Podolski's fourth goal of the season set Cimbom en route to their third consecutive Süper Lig victory. Galatasaray announced after the match that playmaker Wesley Sneijder had extended his contract until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Atyrau 0-1 Astana
Tanat Nuserbayev struck the clincher ten minutes from time as the Blue and Yellows got back on track in Kazakhstan. Astana are now seven points adrift of leaders Kairat Almaty following their first league success in four outings.

Juventus 3-1 Bologna
Juve recovered after falling a goal behind to post their first win in three Serie A fixtures. Alvaro Morata began the fight back on 33 minutes and a Paulo Dybala penalty put the champions ahead after the interval, with Sami Khedira then weighing in with his first effort for the club.

Sevilla 2-1 Barcelona
Michael Krohn-Dehli swept in the first following good work by Kevin Gameiro and crossed for Vicente Iborra to glance in the crucial second as Sevilla defeated their fellow UEFA Champions League contenders. Neymar, from the spot, pulled one back for the visitors, beaten 4-1 at Celta Vigo in their last away game.

Manchester City 6-1 Newcastle United
Eleven days after Bayern München's Robert Lewandowski scored five goals in a Bundesliga encounter with Wolfsburg, Sergio Agüero repeated the feat for rampant City. Manuel Pellegrini's team, who fell behind, struck all of their goals in a 21-minute spell either side of half-time. Argentina forward Agüero had only found the net once in the Premier League this term prior to the visit of win-less Newcastle.

Mönchengladbach 2-0 Wolfsburg
The Foals, who opened the 2015/16 Bundesliga with five consecutive defeats, recorded their third domestic win in a row under interim coach André Schubert. Håvard Nordtveit's volley from long range put Mönchengladbach ahead with a quarter of an hour remaining and Ibrahima Traoré wrapped up the points four minutes later.

Sevilla 2-1 Barcelona
Barcelona suffered their second loss in three Liga fixtures. Luis Enrique's side were denied by the woodwork three times – Neymar and Luis Suárez in the first half at 0-0, Sandro Ramírez late on – during a contest in which they had 28 attempts on goal. As it was, they only had a 74th-minute penalty from Neymar, who was making his 100th appearance for the European champions, to show for their efforts.

Leverkusen 1-1 Augsburg
Roger Schmidt's men missed the chance to go fourth after failing to make their chances count. The hosts fell behind to an early Bernd Leno own goal but levelled through Karim Bellarabi before the break – only for Hakan Çalhanoğlu to fire over from the penalty spot after the restart.

BATE Borisov 1-1 Granit Mikashevichi
BATE missed the chance to secure the title early after being held at home. Aleksey Timoshenko gave the visitors a shock fifth-minute lead before Nemanja Milunović restored parity nine minutes from time to secure a point. The champions moved 13 points clear of Dinamo Minsk with four matches left to play, having contested one game more than their nearest challengers.

Palermo 2-4 Roma
Gervinho struck twice as the Giallorossi returned to winning ways following Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at BATE. Miralem Pjanić and Alessandro Florenzi also registered to secure a second consecutive Serie A success. Alberto Gilardino and Giancarlo Gonzalez netted for the hosts. Fourth-placed Roma are now four points adrift of leaders Fiorentina.

Bayern München 5-1 Borussia Dortmund
Bayern moved seven points clear at the Bundesliga summit and equalled their own record of having won all eight opening games. In-form duo Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski both scored twice and Mario Götze also struck as the German champions ended Dortmund's unbeaten start in emphatic fashion, though BVB's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the first player to score in the first eight matches of a Bundesliga season.

PAOK 0-2 Olympiacos
Olympiacos remain perfect in Greece's top flight after engineering their sixth consecutive victory since the start of the campaign. Summer signing Ideye Brown opened his account for the title holders on 27 minutes and Luka Milivojević doubled their advantage shortly after.

Inter Zaprešić 2-2 Dinamo Zagreb
Beaten 5-0 by Bayern on Wednesday, Dinamo responded to that first reverse in 46 games with a comeback draw at mid-table Zaprešić. The Croatian league leaders reduced their arrears when Junior Fernandes converted a penalty five minutes before the interval and equalised through Armin Hodžić early in the second half.  

Arsenal 3-0 Manchester United
Alexis Sánchez notched two and Mesut Özil added another as the Gunners stunned the visitors with three goals in the opening 20 minutes. Arsène Wenger's charges moved up to second in the Premier League, while the defeat left the Red Devils in third place, behind Arsenal on goal difference.

Vorksla Poltava 0-4 Dynamo Kyiv
Dynamo made it nine wins from ten in the Ukrainian Premier League courtesy of a comfortable away success. Vitaliy Buyalskiy and Antunes struck in the first half, ahead of goals for Derlis González and Andriy Yarmolenko.

Porto 4-0 Belenenses
Liga pacesetters Porto reacquainted themselves with victory on the domestic scene with a comprehensive triumph. Jesús Manuel Corona got the ball rolling after 53 minutes and Yacine Brahimi registered moments later, before late strikes from Pablo Osvaldo and Iván Marcano.

Chelsea 1-3 Southampton
Struggling Chelsea are 16th in the Premier League after losing for the fourth time in eight Premier League games this season – last term, when they won the title, the Blues experienced only three defeats. They went ahead when Willian's tenth-minute free-kick found the top corner. However, Steven Davis equalised before the interval and Sadio Mané and Graziano Pellè registered in the second period for the Saints.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv 5-0 Hapoel Akko
Eran Zahavi ended a sequence of six appearances for club and country without a goal by scoring twice in a resounding victory. The result – coupled with defeat for previous leaders Maccabi Petach-Tikva – means Slaviša Jokanović's charges are top of the Ligat ha'Al for the first time this season.

Zenit 3-0 Rostov
Artem Dzyuba scored against the club where he spent last season on loan from Spartak Moskva. The Russian international's effort doubled Zenit's advantage, helping the St Petersburg side record their first home league triumph since 1 August.

Athletic Club 3-1 Valencia
Daniel Parejo broke the deadlock for Los Che, but his side fell to a second defeat in three Liga outings as Athletic recovered in style at San Mamés. Aymeric Laporte, Markel Susaeta and Aritz Aduriz all registered to lift the hosts out of the bottom three.

Gent 4-1 Club Brugge
Sven Kums struck a hat-trick as the Buffalos recorded a resounding victory against Club Brugge. Laurent Depoitre added a fourth before Ruud Vormer struck a consolation for the visitors, with second-placed Gent climbing within three points of leaders Oostende.

Lyon 1-0 Reims
Les Gones responded to back-to-back defeats by Bordeaux and Valencia respectively courtesy of Alexandre Lacazette's deflected shot, which proved enough to beat Reims. That low, driven effort was redemption for last season's Ligue 1 top scorer, who had struck the crossbar with a penalty three minutes earlier.
