Monaco set the cat among the Ligue 1 pigeons on Sunday night by beating Paris 3-1, following wins for the likes of Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund and Manchester City.

Unai Emery suffered his first reverse as Paris coach and the champions lost their first Ligue 1 fixture since March in a result that will give their top-flight rivals hope.

Watford 1-3 Arsenal (Pereyra 57; Cazorla 9pen, Alexis Sánchez 40, Özil 45+1)
The Gunners picked up their maiden win of the season thanks to a fine first-half display, Alexis Sánchez scoring one and setting up the other two.

Thun 0-3 Basel (M Lang 4, Janko 13, Zuffi 19)
The Swiss title holders maintained their 100% start to the season with a victory that took them six points clear at the summit.

Lokomotiv Plovdiv 2-2 Ludogorets (Kamburov 24, Raykov 86; Plastun 53, Keșerü 73)
Ludogorets' shaky league form continued as they were denied a hard-fought victory with just four minutes remaining.

Nacional 1-3 Benfica (Tobias Figueiredo 64; Ghazal 17og, Carrillo 70, Jiménez 90+2)
Another late goal from Raúl Jiménez, who earned Benfica a point in added time against Setúbal last weekend, added the gloss to the Eagles' second Liga win of the season.

Arkadiusz Milik opened his Partenopei account with two goals; Milan had Juraj Kucka and M'Baye Niang sent off in the closing 15 minutes.

Dynamo Kyiv 0-2 Vorskla (Kolomoets 15 69)
Dynamo had won five from five this season before suffering their first league defeat to anyone other than Shakhtar Donetsk since April 2014.

Konyaspor 2-2 Beşiktaş(Bajić 8 59; Olcay Şahan 14, Cenk Tosun 53)
Turkish champions Beşiktaş followed up their opening Süper Lig win with a share of the spoils on Friday, though they were left holding on following Necip Uysal's late dismissal.

Athletic 0-1 Barcelona (Rakitić 21)
Ivan Rakitić headed in from an Arda Turan cross as Luis Enrique celebrated his 100th win as Barça coach.

Manchester City 3-1 West Ham (Sterling 7 90+2, Fernandinho 18; Antonio 58)
Raheem Sterling impressed again as Josep Guardiola's men continued their perfect start to their Premier League campaign with a second home success.

Mönchengladbach 2-1 Leverkusen (Hahn 45+1, Stindl 85; Pohjanpalo 79)
Gladbach, 6-1 victors against Young Boys in midweek, needed Lars Stindl's cool finish five minutes from time in order to maintain their perfect record this season.

Celtic 4-1 Aberdeen (Griffiths 13, Forrest 42, Sinclair 87pen, Rogic 90; Rooney 32)
Celtic scored at least four goals for the third time in their last four games. James Forrest and Scott Sinclair have found the net in each of the Hoops' first three league outings.

Bayern München 6–0 Werder Bremen (Xabi 9, Lewandowski 13 46 77pen, Lahm 66, Ribéry 73)
Robert Lewandowski struck a second hat-trick in eight days as Bayern began their Bundesliga defence in imperious form.

Leganés 0-0 Atlético Madrid
Last season's runners-up have just one point from their first two Liga games after being held to a first goalless draw since March.

PSV Eindhoven 0-0 Groningen
PSV captain Luuk de Jong missed a first-half spot kick shortly after Juninho Bacuna's dismissal as the lowly visitors held on to deny the Dutch champions a fourth consecutive Eredivisie victory.

Terek 2-1 Rostov (Balaj 33, Wilker Ángel 35; Novoseltsev 31)
Ten-man Rostov suffered a second consecutive away defeat in Russia, and also had captain Aleksandr Gatskan dismissed in the second half.

Tom 0-1 CSKA Moskva (Eremenko 54)
The Russian champions' unbeaten start to the Russian Premier League campaign continued thanks to Roman Eremenko's third goal in his last four appearances.

Mönchengladbach 2-1 Leverkusen (Hahn 45+1, Stindl 85; Pohjanpalo 79)
Joel Pohjanpalo scored just a minute after coming off the bench to make his Leverkusen debut, but there was still time for the hosts to find a winner.

Left-back Danny Rose's first goal since February earned Spurs a share of the spoils – their second draw in three games this term.

Toni Kroos's first club goal since February made it two Liga wins from two for Zinédine Zidane's UEFA Champions League holders.

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Mainz (Aubameyang 17 89pen; Yoshinori Muto 90+2)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored 25 Bundesliga goals last season, picked up two in Dortmund's first top-flight fixture of the campaign.

Sporting CP 2-1 Porto (Slimani 14, Gelson Martins 26; Felipe 8)
The Lions laid down an early marker in the Portuguese title race with a comeback victory against rivals Porto, maintaining their perfect start after three games.

Ruch 0-2 Legia Warszawa (Nikolić 39 76)
Nemanja Nikolić registered in the league for the first time this term as Legia returned to winning ways in Poland.

Sporting CP 2-1 Porto (Slimani 14, Gelson Martins 26; Felipe 8)
Porto dropped points for the first time this season despite taking an early lead through defender Felipe, the loss leaving them fifth in Portugal.

Club Brugge 2-2 Standard Liège (Felipe Gedoz 52, Engels 90+3; Touré 14, Edmilson Junior 85)
Belgium champions Club Brugge avoided a second consecutive league defeat, Björn Engels notching an added-time equaliser to thwart the visitors.

Brøndby 1-1 København (Hjulsager 68; Pavlović 45)
The visitors were held for the second consecutive week but remain level on points with early pacesetters Brøndby at the summit in Denmark.

Lazio 0-1 Juventus (Khedira 66)
Sami Khedira found the net for the second time in two league games – Paulo Dybala with an exquisite assist – to give Juve maximum points.

Villarreal 0-0 Sevilla
After rattling in six goals last time out, UEFA Europa League holders Sevilla were held at bay in their second Liga assignment.

Though Alexandre Lacazette took his tally to six for the season already, Lyon slipped to defeat at the hands of the promoted side.

Dinamo still find themselves two points behind leaders Rijeka in Croatia despite a fifth success in seven league fixtures.
