Last six: WWLLWD
Weekend result: Augsburg 1-3 Leverkusen (Kohr 60; Bellarabi 23, Hernández 40 65)

▪ It has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for Bayer in the past two months, with consistency elusive throughout. However, a second successive Bundesliga win has moved Leverkusen to within sight of the UEFA Europa League berths. Karim Bellarabi, scorer of the quickest goal in Bundesliga history, also struck the milestone 50,000th goal in Germany's top flight last Friday.

Weekend result: Porto 4-0 Tondela (André Silva 43pen, Rúben Neves 54, Soares 63, Diogo Jota 90+2)

▪ Porto have gone from third to second – and from three points off leaders Benfica to just one – since the group stage finished. They have dropped just two of the 30 points on offer in that period and scored 25 Liga goals, a tally achieved in part thanks to January signing Francisco Soares' four in three appearances. Porto's only recent disappointment came as they finished bottom of their Portuguese League Cup group.

JUVENTUS

Weekend result: Juventus 4-1 Palermo (Marchisio 13, Dybala 40 89, Higuaín 63; Chochev 90+3)

▪ The Bianconeri have won nine of their ten league fixtures since the end of the group stage and are seven points ahead atop Serie A. Friday's victory against Palermo extended their Serie A record of consecutive home victories to 29. Juve have also reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals, where they will face Napoli, while Gonzalo Higuaín has scored 12 goals in as many games in all competitions.

Weekend resultSevilla 2-0 Eibar (Sarabia 30, Vitolo 90+1)

In January, the Andalusian side recorded their biggest ever points total of 42 for the first half of a season and strung together five straight league wins before losing at Espanyol, while they exited the Copa del Rey at the hands of Real Madrid.

LEICESTER

Last six: LLWLLD
Weekend result: Millwall 1-0 Leicester (Cummings 90)

▪ Saturday's FA Cup fifth round defeat at third-tier Millwall, who were down to ten men, continued a miserable run that has left the Premier League champions only a point above the relegation zone.
