Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Bayern
Without the suspended Robert Lewandowski, who missed the 2-1 midweek loss to Madrid with a shoulder injury, Carlo Ancelotti's men failed to make their dominance count. Bayern had a numerical advantage for the last 31 minutes after Tin Jedvaj was sent off.

MONACO v BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Monaco 2-1 Dijon (Dirar 69, Falcao 81; Varrault 42)
Radamel Falcao's set-piece prowess earned Ligue 1 leaders Monaco all three points. Nabil Dirar pounced on the rebound after the substitute had tried his luck with a free-kick that rattled the bar before hitting the back of Dijon keeper Baptiste Reynet. Falcao perfected his aim nine minutes from time, leaving Reynet rooted to spot, by curling a right-footed effort into the far corner.

Dortmund 3-1 Eintracht Frankfurt (Reus 2, Papastathopoulos 34, Aubameyang 86; Fabian 29)
Making his first appearance in almost six weeks after overcoming a hamstring injury, Marco Reus set Dortmund en route to a victory that consolidated fourth place in the German top flight. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's strike, his 26th league goal of the campaign, drew him level with Lewandowski at the top of the Bundesliga scorers' chart.

BARCELONA v JUVENTUS

Barcelona 3-2 Real Sociedad (Messi 17 37, Alcácer 44; Umtiti og 42, Xabi Prieto 45+1)
Lionel Messi moved on to 498 goals in all competitions for Barcelona during an eventful first half at the Camp Nou. Deputising for Neymar, who was serving the first game of a three-match ban, Paco Alcácer marked only his fourth Liga start of the campaign with a goal of his own after slick approach play by Messi.

Pescara 0-2 Juventus (Higuaín 22 43)
A much-changed Juve side opened up an eight-point advantage over second-placed Roma, who drew 1-1 against Atalanta, by defeating Serie A's bottom club. Higuaín's opener was his 200th goal in European league football. His compatriot, Paulo Dybala, was substituted early in the second half with an ankle injury.
