Galásek suffers fresh setback

AFC Ajax midfield player Tomáš Galásek is facing several more weeks on the sidelines with a back injury.
AFC Ajax midfielder Tomáš Galásek is facing several more weeks on the sidelines according to coach Ronald Koeman.

Back problem
The 31-year-old Czech international has not played since 13 October because of back problems, and Koeman said on Friday that he expects to be without Galásek for the near future, ruling him out of the UEFA Champions League Group C match at Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC on 3 November. "There appears to be something wrong with [one of the discs in his back], and as it looks now, he will not play for a while," the coach said.
