Odiah out of Chelsea challenge

PFC CSKA Moskva wing-back Chidi Odiah will miss the Chelsea FC home game because of a shoulder injury.

Ten-day absence
The 20-year-old Nigerian international was taken to hospital after hurting himself in the second half of Monday's vital Russian Premier League match against FC Zenit St. Peterburg. Even without Odiah, CSKA won 3-0 to move three points clear at the top with three games remaining.

'Ten days to heal'
Club doctor Oleg Ipatenko said of the injury: "We have repaired the twist and put him in plaster. X-rays have shown that his bones are undamaged, but on Wednesday we will run more tests. Normally this kind of injury takes about ten days to heal."

Olic boost
CSKA, who lost 2-0 away to Chelsea last week to fall five points behind the group leaders, are expected to have striker Ivica Olic back from a thigh injury for the 2 November visit of the Londoners.
