Caçapa concern for Lyon

Olympique Lyonnais defender Claudio Caçapa has picked up another knee injury.

Ligament damage
The Brazilian defender left the pitch on a stretcher after just ten minutes of the Ligue 1 fixture against RC Strasbourg. He was taken to hospital for tests but it is thought he has suffered ligament damage following a tackle by Sidi Keita, with the 19-year-old Strasbourg player being subsequently sent off.

Important match
Caçapa has been an ever-present for the French champions this season, having missed much of last season with knee trouble. However, the 28-year-old Caçapa seems doubtful for the remainder of their UEFA Champions League group-stage campaign, starting with Wednesday's home match against Fenerbahçe SK.

Wiltord worry
Lyon coach Paul Le Guen was concerned for his 28-year-old centre-back. "We're worried for our captain," he said. "We did not need that in November which is a busy period." To add to his fears, France striker Sylvain Wiltord had to be replaced in the second half of the 1-0 victory with hamstring trouble.
