Article body
Following a tussle
The Brazilian international was dismissed for violent conduct in the dying moments of the Group G game at the San Siro, which ended goalless, following a tussle with Valencia's Marco Caneira. The ban, imposed by UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body, rules him out of Inter's remaining group stage matches away to Werder Bremen on 24 November and at home to RSC Anderlecht on 7 December.
Appeal possible
The Control and Disciplinary Body also took into account what it said was provocation by the Valencia player. Adriano, who has scored four goals in four Champions League games this season, has until midnight CET on Monday to appeal.
