Corvia makes Roma commitment

Italian Under-21 international striker Daniele Corvia has renewed his contract with AS Roma until 2009.

European appearances
A product of Roma's youth system, the 20-year-old striker has appeared once in the current UEFA Champions League campaign. The Italian Under-21 international made his debut in the Coppa Italia last December, and has also appeared in the UEFA Cup and Serie A.

Champions League exit
Roma are already eliminated from Champions League Group B, and will finish fourth, having earned only one point in five games. Their campaign ends behind closed doors at home to Real Madrid CF on 8 December.
