Former Ukrainian champions FC Dynamo Kyiv have signed Brazilian striker Diogo Rincon from Sport Club Internacional, three days after securing his compatriot, Leandro.

Striker unveiled
Dynamo unveiled the 22-year-old striker just prior to their 1-0 defeat against the side that replaced them as title-holders last season, FC Shakhtar Donestk, after signing a contact worth €2.85m.

Milan target
Club president Igor Surkis said: "I asked Ariele Braida, the Milan AC technical manager, about Diogo, and Braida said that if his club had not signed the Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko, they would definitely try to sign Rincon." The player was also attracted by Dynamo's signing of Leandro.

Russian possiblity
Surkis is also hoping to add 17-year-old Russian forward Sergei Ovchinnikov, currently with FC Lokomotiv Moscow, to the Dynamo squad, which will face FC Pyunik in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
