Manchester United FC have agreed to sign Netherlands goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar from English Premiership rivals Fulham FC for an undisclosed fee.
The 34-year-old former AFC Ajax and Juventus FC player, who has 95 Dutch caps to his name, has signed a two-year deal with the Old Trafford club and, pending a medical, will join on 1 July.
United had been looking for a goalkeeper to compete for a first-team berth with Tim Howard since releasing Northern Irish international Roy Carroll and Spaniard Ricardo during May.
