Spalletti calls time at Udinese

Udinese Calcio coach Luciano Spalletti has left the Serie A club after leading them to the UEFA Champions League.

Promising career
Spalletti started his coaching career at Empoli FC, the team he steered to consecutive promotions from Serie C1 to Serie A between 1995 and 1997. Before joining Udinese in July 2003, who will take part in the Champions League third qualifying round this August, he has also coached UC Sampdoria, AC Venezia and Ancona Calcio.
