The 21-year-old spent last season at ACF Fiorentina, scoring two goals in 33 appearances, but returned to Perugia earlier this week before agreeing a five-year contract with Udinese. Obodo has played a total of 95 games in Serie A since his debut in 2002. Udinese will enter the Champions League third qualifying round after finishing fourth in Italy.
