Lutsenko makes Dynamo return

FC Dynamo Kyiv have re-signed keeper Taras Lutsenko to compete with Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and Vitaliy Reva.

Russian spell
The 31-year-old came through the Dynamo ranks and made his breakthrough in the club's reserve side in 1992. However, he failed to establish himself in the first team and decided to move to Russia's FC Uralan Elista in 1999. FC Zakarpattya Uzhgorod then brought him back to Ukraine 18 months ago.

Stiff competition
Lutsenko was a regular for Zakarpattya in the 2004/05 season but faces competition for a place at Dynamo who already boast internationals Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and Vitaliy Reva. Dynamo begin the new domestic season with the Ukrainian Super Cup against FC Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow before their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against FC Thun.
