Greek champions Olympiacos CFP have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of Belgian goalkeeper Erwin Lemmens on a free transfer from Primera División side RCD Espanyol.
Two-year deal
The 29-year-old shot-stopper has signed a two-year contract with the option of a 12-month extension and is expected to link up with his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp in Austria tomorrow.
International experience
Lemmens, who made two appearances for Belgium in 2004, moved to Spain from KSK Beveren in 1999. He played 82 league games for Real Racing Club Santander before joining Espanyol in 2003. Despite a successful first season in Catalonia, Lemmens managed just one start last term in a Spanish Cup tie as Idriss Kaméni made the No1 shirt his own.
