Double signing for Betis

Real Betis Balompié have unveiled two new signings in the form of Nano from Getafe CF and CD Numancia's Juanlu.

'Big step'
The 26-year-old left-back Nano has penned a five-year deal after leaving Getafe CF, for whom he made 97 appearances in the past three seasons. His previous clubs include CP Amorós and Club Atlético de Madrid. Nano said: "It is a big step for me and I hope I can repay the confidence placed in me."

'Dream move'
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Juanlu has signed a six-year contract after departing recently-relegated CD Numancia. The left-sided midfielder said: "This is a dream move for me. The chance of being able to play in the Champions League with Betis fills me with happiness and excitement."

Squad complete
With fellow arrivals Alberto Rivera and Xisco now settled at the Andalusian club, Betis coach Llorenç Serra Ferrer looks to have assembled his squad for next month's Champions League third qualifying round.
