Shakhtar call for Trusevich

FC Shakhtar Donetsk have signed Ukrainian Under-21 international Maksym Trusevich on a five-year contract.
FC Shakhtar Donetsk have signed Ukraine Under-21 midfielder Maksym Trusevich on a five-year deal.

Promising youngster
The 19-year-old was released by relegated FC Borysfen Borispol at the end of last season after his contract expired, having made 24 appearances. However, Trusevich must wait before he tastes first-team action with the Ukrainian champions. "After being injured, Maksym lacks match practice, that's why in the near future he will be playing for the reserves," said coach Mircea Lucescu.

Fernandinho switch
Shakhtar have also confirmed that the €7.8m purchase of Clube Atlético Paranaense midfielder Fernando Luis Roza 'Fernandinho', which was agreed in the winter, has gone through. The Brazilian U20 international has signed a five-year deal. Meanwhile, Santos FC centre-back José Leonardo arrived in Donetsk on Thursday for talks over a possible move.
