Real Betis Balompié have signed midfield player Miguel Ángel Lozano from Málaga CF in a deal worth in the region of €2m.

European incentive
That figure could rise should the player achieve performance-related incentives such as Betis passing their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round test against French side AS Monaco FC this month. Miguel Ángel has penned a five-year contract, ending four seasons at the Manuel Ruíz de Lopera.

Barça boy
The 26-year-old has been a regular for Málaga since joining from then Segunda División side Levante UD in 2001. He spent his formative years at La Masia playing for FC Barcelona's reserves and also played for his hometown club, CE Sabadell FC. The player is due to be presented by his new employers within the next few days.
