Rink heading back to Brazil

German 1. Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen have loaned striker Paulo Rink to CR Flamengo.

Nürnberg spell
The German international, who was loaned out to 1. FC Nürnberg last season, joins the Brazilian club on a deal that runs until December 2003.

Medical tomorrow
Before signing tomorrow Rink will undergo a medical. If all goes according to plan the 28-year-old should make his debut against Clube Atlético Mineiro on 22 September.

Germany caps
Rink was born in the Brazilian town of Curitiba but obtained German citizenship in 1998. He has played 13 times for Germany and in 2000 Leverkusen loaned for a short spell to Brazilian side Santos FC.
