Ready for action
Andersson could be included in the Barcelona squad for Saturday's game against Real Betis Balompié after recovering from the thigh injury which ruled him out of the FIFA World Cup finals. The 31-year-old was yesterday given the green light by club doctors to start playing again following a year-long fight for fitness.
Series of injuries
The Swede tore a tendon in his left leg on the eve of the World Cup, the fifth and last in a series of injuries which wrecked his first season at Camp Nou following his transfer from FC Bayern München.
