Baptista forced out for Madrid

Real Madrid CF's attacking midfielder Julio Baptista will be missing for up to five weeks after tests confirmed knee ligament damage.
Real Madrid CF's attacking midfielder Julio Baptista has been ruled out for up to five weeks after tests revealed the Brazilian international has torn a ligament in his left knee.

Interval change
The €24m summer signing from Sevilla FC suffered the injury during Madrid's 4-1 home win against Rosenborg BK last night, and was replaced by Guti at half-time. As a result, Baptista will almost certainly miss Madrid's Matchday 4 return against Rosenborg, and possibly their home encounter with Olympique Lyonnais on 23 November.
