Nesta doubt for Munich trip

AC Milan could face FC Bayern München without Italian international Alessandro Nesta.

AC Milan could face FC Bayern München without Italian international Alessandro Nesta, after the defender limped out of the of the 1-1 Serie A draw against his former club S.S. Lazio with a slight muscle injury on Saturday.

Major doubt
Nesta has been called up by Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti for the trip to Germany but he remains a major doubt for the Group G match against the 2001 UEFA Champions League winners.

Laursen in line
Danish international Martin Laursen is in line to replace Nesta. Milan have won their first two matches in the Champions League against RC Lens and RC Deportivo La Coruña respectively, while Bayern have just one point after two matches.
