Bardsley earns United extension

Manchester United FC right-back Phil Bardsley has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2009, while Liam Miller is on the move.
Manchester United FC right-back Phil Bardsley has signed a contract extension keeping him at Old Trafford until 2009.

'Really pleased'
The 20-year-old has established himself in the United first-team squad this season, making eight appearances. He said: "I'm really pleased. It's been great having the opportunity to be involved with the first team. I want that to continue." Meanwhile, United midfielder Liam Miller, 24, has been loaned to Leeds United AFC until January.
