Paulo Jorge joins Benfica influx

SL Benfica have completed the acquisition of winger Paulo Jorge from Boavista FC following the earlier arrivals of Rui Costa and Konstantinos Katsouranis.

Paulo Jorge joins Benfica influx

SL Benfica have completed the acquisition of winger Paulo Jorge from Boavista FC following the earlier arrivals of Rui Costa and Konstantinos Katsouranis.

SL Benfica have completed the signing of winger Paulo Jorge from Boavista FC.

Undisclosed fee
The 25-year-old joins the Lisbon giants for an undisclosed fee, having agreed a four-year contract. He will be unveiled today at Benfica's pre-season training camp in Nyon, Switzerland. Paulo Jorge scored four goals in 25 games for Boavista last season, his only campaign with the Porto-based club following spells with FC Maia and FC Infesta. Benfica have also acquired the services of former Portugal playmaker Rui Costa and Greek international Konstantinos Katsouranis this summer.
