Standard strengthen with Rodrigo Costa

R. Standard de Liège have acquired the services of TSV 1860 München's Brazilian central defender Rodrigo Costa on a two-year contract.

R. Standard de Liège have acquired the services of Brazilian defender Rodrigo Costa from TSV 1860 München.

Two-year contract
The 30-year-old centre-back has agreed a two-year deal with the Belgian First Division runners-up and will today travel to Germany to complete the transfer before joining up with Standard on Monday. Rodrigo Costa has spent the past five seasons with 1860 München, making 106 league appearances, and previously had a two-year spell in Portugal with CS Marítimo in the mid-1990s. He also played for several clubs in his homeland, including EC Juventude and Grêmio FBPA.
