FC Bayern München have extended coach Felix Magath's contract by one year until 2008.

Unblemished record
The 52-year-old joined Bayern from VfB Stuttgart in May 2004 and has guided the Bavarian club to Bundesliga glory in each of his two seasons at the helm, setting a German record of 15 successive league wins in the process. "We reached an agreement on every detail," said Bayern official Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Magath's side begin the defence of their domestic crown against BV Borussia Dortmund on 11 August.
