Heart of Midlothian FC defender Ibrahim Tall has been ruled out of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against AEK Athens FC after sustaining knee ligament damage at the weekend.

Month's absence
The 25-year-old, a summer signing from FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, was injured during Sunday's 2-1 Premier League win against champions Celtic FC and faces four weeks on the sidelines. Scotland midfielder Paul Hartley will also sit out Wednesday's first-leg visit of AEK to Edinburgh as he is recovering from a groin complaint.
