Bulgarian champions PFC Levski Sofia have signed young midfielder Georgi Surmov from second division side PFC Chernomorets Burgas.

PFC Levski Sofia have signed young midfielder Georgi Surmov from second division side PFC Chernomorets Burgas.

European opportunity
The 20-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Bulgarian champions and is Levski's first signing since they became the first club from their country to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage. Surmov will be eligible to play in the Group A games against FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC and Werder Bremen. "I am happy to have joined Levski and must now focus completely on my football," he said.
