Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger has again signed a player for the future, paying São Paulo FC €5m for 18-year-old Brazilian youth international Denílson.
Arsenal FC have struck a pre-deadline €5m deal to sign Brazilian youth international Denílson on a long-term contract from São Paulo FC.
Possible loan
The 18-year-old – full name Denílson Pereira Neves – will be loaned to a smaller European side to gain experience, according to his hometown club São Paulo. The midfielder has played just 12 first-team games, but has experience of facing English opposition having appeared against Liverpool FC in the 2005 FIFA Club World Championship. The former Brazil Under-17 captain is now turning out for the U20s.
