Tomáš Rosický is battling to be fit for Arsenal FC's home encounter with Hamburger SV that could go a long way to determining their UEFA Champions League fate this season.
The 26-year-old playmaker has suffered a hamstring injury in training and has definitely been ruled out of the Premiership home games against Liverpool FC this Sunday and Newcastle United FC a week on Saturday. Hamburg then travel to London on 21 November with Arsenal needing victory to keep the pressure on Group G leaders PFC CSKA Moskva, who are a point ahead in the section. Rosický, who joins Fredrik Ljungberg (calf), Júlio Baptista (hamstring), Lauren (knee) and Abou Diaby (ankle) on the injured list, had been called by the Czech Republic for next week's friendly against Denmark.
