Inter tie up promising trio

Internazionale FC have handed new contracts to three of their brightest youngsters - Giovanni Pasquale (pictured), Nicola Beati and Obafemi Martins.
Internazionale FC have rewarded three of their promising youngsters with new contracts that could keep them at the San Siro until 2008.

Five more years
Defender Giovanni Pasquale, midfield player Nicola Beati and striker Obafemi Martins have all signed five-year deals with the Serie A club and UEFA Champions League contenders.

Ajax debut
Left-back Pasquale, 21, made his debut in the Champions League win against AFC Ajax in September - one of 14 first-team appearances this term.

Catching the eye
Beati, 20, has also featured for Héctor Cúper's side in both domestic and European competition, while 18-year-old Nigerian forward Martins caught the eye in the recent 2-1 league victory at Parma AC.
