All not well for Caldwell

Celtic FC defender Gary Caldwell has been ruled out until the new year with knee ligament damage after aggravating the injury last weekend.

Bad luck
The 24-year-old Scotland centre-back missed Tuesday's historic 1-0 UEFA Champions League win against Manchester United FC after jarring his knee against Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC last weekend and tests have confirmed he will be out for at least two months. "It looks like Gary won't be back until the new year," said coach Tommy Burns. "The injury is worse than it looked and he'll be out longer than we hoped." Celtic are already sure of a place in the knockout stage of the tournament ahead of their final Group F game against FC København in Denmark.
