Dacourt to miss Munich summit

Italian league leaders FC Internazionale Milano will be shorn of the services of Olivier Dacourt for the next month - ruling the French midfielder out of Inter's UEFA Champions League showdown with FC Bayern München.

Thigh problem
Dacourt injured his left thigh during Wednesday's UEFA Champions League victory against Sporting Clube de Portugal, which secured the Nerazzurri's place in the last 16 with only the issue of top spot in Group B to be decided when Inter visit Munich on 5 December. Roberto Mancini's team must win on Matchday 6 to claim pole position ahead of the German champions.

Free transfer
The former French international, who joined Inter on a free transfer from AS Roma last summer, has made eleven Serie A appearances for his new club as well as five in the UEFA Champions League. Dacourt previously played for RC Strasbourg, Everton FC, RC Lens and Leeds United AFC.
