Zambrotta laid low at Barcelona

FC Barcelona will be without Gianluca Zambrotta for four weeks after the defender pulled a muscle in his left calf during the FIFA Club World Cup final.

The 29-year-old was withdrawn at half-time during the game against SC Internacional de Porto Alegre, which the Brazilian side won 1-0, and is expected to undergo further tests once he returns to Spain. Medical staff estimate that the Italian will need at least a month to recover.
