Valencia CF look almost certain to be without Vicente Rodríguez for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea FC on 10 April.
The Spanish international winger left the field in the 58th minute of Wednesday night's 1-1 first-leg draw at Stamford Bridge after going down clutching the back of his left leg. The 25-year-old is expected to be sidelined for at least a month. He has suffered a succession of long-term injuries, and this season has appeared only three times in the UEFA Champions League, including tonight. "We will know more tomorrow but it looks like a muscle tear," said a Valencia spokesman.
