AC Milan right-back Cafu shows no sign of slowing down at the age of 36 after signing a new one-year contract for next season with the UEFA Champions League finalists.

Liverpool date
The only player to have featured in three FIFA World Cup finals, winning two, Brazilian Cafu joined the Rossoneri from AS Roma in summer 2003 and recently passed 100 Serie A appearances for the club – 22 of them coming this term. Cafu was in the Milan team beaten by Liverpool FC in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final, and will hope to be on the field in Athens on 23 May when the sides renew ties in this season's showpiece.
