FC Porto coach Jesualdo Ferreira has extra midfield options for the coming season with the double signing of Mário Bolatti and Luís Aguiar for undisclosed fees.
The 22-year-old Argentinian Bolatti has signed a four-year contract with the Portuguese champions after leaving CA Belgrano in his homeland. The 21-year-old Uruguayan international Aguiar has moved to Europe on a one-year loan from Montevideo outfit Liverpool FC with Porto holding the option of making the transfer permanent. He will be reunited with compatriot and former club-mate Jorge Fucile at the Estádio do Dragão. Porto have already secured Brazilian trio Lino, Fernando and Edgar and Poland midfielder Przemysław Kaźmierczak for the coming season. Porto will begin the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League in the group stage.
