Three-year deal
The 28-year-old, who can also play at left-back, has been given a three-year contract at the Belgian runners-up, who are gearing up for a UEFA Champions Leauge second qualifying round tie against either FK Sarajevo or Marsaxlokk FC. At Genk, Tiago, who had been training with Italian club Atalanta BC since leaving CSKA, will replace Sébastien Pocognoli who has left for AZ Alkmaar. While Genk plot a path to the UEFA Champions League, CSKA will play in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round.
