Young stars commit to Madrid

Real Madrid CF have extended the contracts of young midfielders Javier Ángel Balboa, Rubén De La Red and Adrián González until 2011 as they look to the future.
Real Madrid CF have extended the contracts of three promising young players until the summer of 2011.

Young talent
The 22-year-old midfielders Javier Ángel Balboa and Rubén De La Red will all join the first-team this season along with 19-year-old midfielder Adrián González, with all three players getting new deals. Meanwhile, reserve team goalkeeper Jordi Codina, 25, has committed to the club until 2010. The Spanish champions will play in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
