Sporting Clube de Portugal have signed Slovakian left-back Marián Had from FC Lokomotiv Moskva for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old, who can also play in the centre of defence, made just nine league appearances for the Russian capital club since his move from 1. FC Brno at the start of 2006. The 13-times capped international will add to the defensive options at the Lisbon club, with Rodrigo Tello and Marco Caneira having left this summer. Had joins Pedro Silva, Vladimir Stojković, Simon Vukčević, Derlei, Marat Izmailov and Gladstone in Paulo Bento's new-look squad, which will compete in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season after finishing second in Portugal last term.
