FC Dynamo Kyiv striker Ismaël Bangoura will be out of action for several weeks after cracking a rib in Wednesday night's 2-0 UEFA Champions League defeat at AS Roma.
Nasty fall
The 22-year-old, a summer arrival from French side UC Le Mans 72, sustained the injury in a fall on the pitch late in the first half in Rome, and was replaced by team-mate Diogo Rincón at half-time. A scan has revealed that the Guinean international - Dynamo's top scorer in the league so far with five goals from seven games - has damaged a rib and will be out of action until it heals. The club had earlier lost Senegalese central defender Pape Diakhate with a fractured collarbone. Dynamo take on Sporting Clube de Portugal in their next Group F fixture on 2 October.
