FC Barcelona have lost Yaya Touré for a month with a thigh injury that rules him out of Tuesday's game at VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League and the Matchday 3 trip to Rangers FC.

Muscle tear
The Ivory Coast midfielder, a €9m summer signing from AS Monaco FC, had started every game this season for Barça at home or in Europe but suffered a muscle tear during the 4-1 win against Levante UD on Saturday. Barcelona fear he will not be fit in time for the Rangers game on 23 October but expect the 24-year-old to recover in time for the home return against the Scottish side on 7 November. Barcelona lost full-back Gianluca Zambrotta to a similar problem last Wednesday.
