González injury leaves Porto short

Influential FC Porto midfielder Lucho González will miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League visit of Olympique de Marseille due to an ankle injury.

Influential midfielder Lucho González will miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League visit of Olympique de Marseille after sustaining an injury to his right ankle in FC Porto's 1-1 home draw against CF Os Belenenses on Friday.

Pre-game blow
The Argentinian picked up the problem during the warm-up but still started the match at the Estádio do Dragão. Eleven minutes later, though, he departed on a stretcher and now misses the Group A summit meeting - two weeks after scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw in Marseille. However, right-back José Bosingwa, unavailable last night due to an injury to his right thigh, should recover in time for Jesualdo Ferreira's team. The French club lead the section with seven points from three games, two clear of second-place Porto.
