The 19-year-old only made his Serie A debut last season but has quickly established himself as a first-team regular. He capped a heady rise by making his debut for Italy Under-21s last month and Lazio have moved to secure his future. "I'm very happy," De Silvestri said. "Negotiations were not difficult and I'm delighted that I will be wearing the Lazio shirt for many more years to come. I'm also glad this contract has arrived just ahead of the crucial game against Werder Bremen. We must be united at this crucial time." Lazio are bottom of Group C with two points from three games.
