Rosenborg BK have signed the versatile Norway Under-21 international Vadim Demidov from Hønefoss BK on a three-year contract until the end of the 2010 season.

High hopes
The 21-year-old Demidov can play in either defence or midfield and his new employers have high hopes for him. Knut Torbjørn Eggen, director of sport at Rosenborg, said: "We have chased Vadim for a long time and feel that he has the qualities needed to become a great player." Demidov himself, who had been coveted by a number of other Norwegian clubs, said: "I know several of the Rosenborg players, and this is the right move for my career."
