UEFA Champions League contenders Olympiacos CFP have signed Slovenian midfielder Mirnes Sisič from Levadiakos FC in their first activity of the winter transfer window.
The 26-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with the reigning Greek champions. Sisič will cost Olympiacos a reported fee of €500,000 and is due to join the squad on 3 January.
Sisič returned to Levadiakos in the close season after a loan spell with Iraklis FC and has scored two goals in nine Greek Super League matches this term. The former Larissa FC player will add depth to an Olympiacos midfield lineup missing anchorman Cristián Raúl Ledesma for the next month due to a hamstring injury.
