Injury-hit season
The 29-year-old Argentinian international has had an injury-troubled season since signing from Manchester United FC in the summer and suffered his latest setback against Real Zaragoza on Sunday. Tests have confirmed the extent of the muscle complaint affecting his left thigh and Heinze has until 19 February to recover to face Roma in Italy.
