ACF Fiorentina have continued their summer recruitment drive by signing goalkeeper Marco Storari on loan from Serie A rivals AC Milan until the end of the season.
'Really happy'
The 31-year-old, who also enjoyed temporary spells at Primera División outfit Levante UD and Cagliari Calcio last term, said: "I know that Fiorentina were looking for an experienced goalkeeper and I am really happy they picked me. I am aware that Sébastien Frey is the first choice but I will be ready to play if needed." Storari is the Viola's seventh summer signing after forwards Alberto Gilardino, Stefan Jovetić and Jefferson Andrade Siqueira, midfielder Felipe Melo and defenders Juan Manuel Vargas and Gianluca Comotto. Fiorentina will enter the UEFA Champions League at the third qualifying round stage following their fourth-place finish in Serie A last season.
